Who We Are

Founded in 1995, Pride in Aging RI is an intergenerational, culturally diverse all-volunteer, 501c3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting, empowering, and contributing to the high quality of life for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender older adult community through service, education, and advocacy.  In partnership with senior and LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations, allies, and our community, we support and advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, foster a greater understanding of aging in all communities, and promote positive images of LGBTQ+ life in later years.
