Pride in Aging Quality Care for LGBTQ+ Older Adults

LGBTQ+ older adults deserve care environments where they feel seen, respected, and safe. This program equips healthcare professionals, advocates, and organizational leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to create affirming, culturally responsive spaces for LGBTQ+ people ages 50 and older.

The Train‑the‑Trainer program prepares educators to deliver the Pride in Aging RI Quality Care for LGBTQ+ Adults curriculum within their own agencies, networks, and communities. This program is ideal for providers, long‑term care staff, social workers, community health workers, educators, and DEI leaders committed to improving care for LGBTQ+ older adults.

Continuing education for nurses, social workers, administrators, activity professionals, physical therapists, occupation therapists, and speech and language pathologists pending. (6 CEs for day 1 and 6 CEs for day 2)
